I regret that my recent health concerns will not allow me to attend the services for my good friend Dick Taaffe. I consider him an excellent educator and I valued his friendship. We shared many laughs. Dick was definitely a "giver" and didn't ask for much in return. I truly believe he left this earth with no enemies. He was a good man!

Dick was my boss for 22 years at C.H.Campbell. I always considered him more as a trusted friend. I was greatly saddened to read of his passing. I communicated with him just two days before his death. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his children and family. RIP Dick
