Vicki Thomas Obituary

Vicki L. Thomas, 68, of Warren, OH passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1956, in Hardin, KY, the daughter of the late David E. and the late Nellie M. Hebb Cleavenger. Vicki was a graduate of Southeast High School, class of 1974. She was a homemaker and member of New Hope Baptist Church in Windham. A beloved child of God, daughter, sister, niece, wife, mother, grand and great Grandmother, aunt and friend Vicki was best known for her love of the Lord. She was seen as one of the most creative crafters in her family; there didn't seem to be anything she couldn't create. An excellent cook and baker - always contributing favorites at every special occasion. We think of how she must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. We think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much. She is survived by her children, April Thomas of Newton Falls, OH, Joseph Thomas of Biloxi, MS, Matthew Thomas of Orwell, OH, and Adrienne Lawrence of Warren, OH; siblings, Paula Putnam of Warren, OH, Don (Carol) Cleavenger of Ravenna, OH, Douglas Cleavenger of Millerburg, OH, Daniel Cleavenger of Warren, OH, Deric Cleavenger of Marysville, OH, and Nona (Rich) Hose of Ravenna, OH; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David E. Cleavenger II and Darin Cleavenger. No services will be held. A special memorial with family will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
