Violet Romeo Obituary
Violet was born February 17, 1931, in Bessemer, PA, a daughter of Paul and Edna Rucinski.
She lived in Bessemer her entire life until she required extra care.
After graduating from Mohawk High School, she married Richard Romeo on May 1, 1950, and worked at the cafeteria services in the Mohawk School System.
Violet liked to play golf, watch football, plant flowers and travel to Florida with her husband Richard. She was a member of the choir at St. Anthony's Church in Bessemer. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church later in life.
Violet leaves her husband, Richard, two sons Richard R. Romeo of Houston, PA, and Dale J. (Phyllis) Romeo of Seminole, FL, a brother Eugene Rucinski of Bessemer, three grandchildren Richard (Jennifer) Romeo of New Middletown, Amanda Bernier of Seminole, FL, and Christine (John) Stoffick of Poland, seven grandchildren Gina, Vito, Andrew, Ethan, Preston, Parker, Harper, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Cecelia (Bill) Johnson, Lillian (Edward) Cracraft, and her sister-in-law Barbara Rucinski.
Friends may call prior to the Mass on April 25 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle Church at 10143 Main Street in New Middletown 44442.
