Wow Pete!!! What a life you lived! Good for you Pete! It is sad that you are no longer with us, but we all (especially Beth and your family) are so proud of you and your accomplishments. As quiet as you were, I would have never guessed you'd have gone on to such success. Not only did you make us all proud, you served your country doing it. And for that, I salute you Col. Golding. I only wish I could shake your hand and say, Thank You. Your MHS classmate of 73, Allen

Peter, our neighbor has left invisible foot prints on the miles and miles of trails he tread- whether jogging silently down the Sidney River Road at dawn, dog happily alongside; through the busy streets of Augusta on his lunch hour; along the beautiful wooded Appalachian Trail or footpaths of Britain. But then he has left a very visible print on the bit of earth next door - building a stunning house, clearing out the woods selectively down to the river, opening up the view northward and planting hardwoods along the driveway. Those beautiful trees and this home site as well as extraordinary service to his country and love of family are his permanent legacy.
I also fondly remember sitting alongside him while our sons took Tae Kwon Do together and talking with him about what interesting book he was reading at the time.
Robin and Charlie join me in expressing our sadness to you, Beth and Jeremy, at your enormous loss.
