Susan "Lajuan" Kimball
1962 - 2017
SKOWHEGAN - Susan "Lajuan" Kimball, 55, of Skowhegan, passed away Wednesday Nov. 22, 2017, at the Wortz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C. She was born Sept. 30, 1962, in Martinsville, Va. to Homer Luther and the late Linda Miller Luther.
Lajuan spent over 15 years in the Skowhegan school systems, most recently at the Margaret Chase Smith School. Lajuan loved being part of the red hat society. She also enjoyed sewing and belly dancing. She will be remembered for her smile and genuine laugh. She always had a twinkle in her eye and spoke what she felt.
She is survived by her husband Darrell Kimball, sharing 17 years of marriage together, her brother John Luther and wife Wendy Luther; her son Kris Quesinberry, daughters Heidi Kimball, Hillary White; and grandchildren Sophie, Caleb and Ross White.
Special thanks to all of her friends and family who have supported her during this battle. She genuinely appreciated all of the love and support that came from everyone.

Lajuan was one of the first to welcome me to MSAD 54 at MCSS. I was struck by her ready smile, her drawl, as well as her way with children. Always delivered a letter or two her way from her little friends. That doesn't mean she didn't know how to have fun off duty. We laughed a LOT. She knew she wanted and usually got it. I will miss her.

LaJuan was a sparkling diamond! Her energy was infectious! Now when I look to the sky and see a bright star twinkling I'll know she's looking down on her family. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of this fine lady. She was always so upbeat when I saw her. Loss leaves a heartache no one can heal but love leaves a memory no one can steal. Remember those good times and that she is no longer in pain.
