Dear Jerry and family - Sending our love and comfort. May you find a way to move through your grief and this incredible shock, and then find some peace in your many wonderful and lasting memories. Clearly, Brendan was a special person, and his too-short life a gift to the world. Peace, Marge & Pete

My deepest sympathies to the Conway family. I didn't know Brendan that well but I do know that if it had not been for him and his generous heart my children never would have been able to attend summer camp. My deepest sympathies to your family as well as to Brendan's girlfriend and the Reid family.

After reading this tribute, I wish Brendan and I had crossed paths! On Friday, while at Eucharistic Adoration at St. Pius X Parish in Portland, a lady stood up and asked those in the church to pray for Brendan, who had just collapsed while playing basketball. Immediately, all of us knelt down and began our private prayers for him.
God, be good to him! My condolences to all his family.

Brendan was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor that linked well with his genuine care and patience. I worked with him for years with Summer Fun Camp. He touched so many lives in a positive and beautiful way. I am so sorry for his family and friends, but also for our community. He will be deeply missed.
