It is Hard to see Him Go
By: Keila Grigware Age 12

It is hard to see him go
But deep down in my heart
It was the best thing, though
I hate to see us part

Now he is in a better place
God took him through heaven’s gates
Surrounding him with is grace
In to heaven where he awaits

I will miss the times we used to share
For there won’t be any more
But I still have the memories that were left in my heart
Every single one from the start

I will always have the memory when
He said I love you
His face with a grin
The last good-bye. I knew

As I grow older and the years pass
I will remember going to the door
Saying good-bye, the last
Never having that feeling before

It is so hard to see him go
But deep down in my heart
It was the best thing, though
I hate to see us part
