    Cooley, 84
     ORLAND, Calif. -- Mary Priscilla Cooley, (nee Jordan), 84, of Orland, Calif., died of natural causes in her home, April 21, 2007. Her husband of 32 years, John Henry Cooley predeceased her in 1991. She is survived by daughter Helen A. Duree of Orland, Calif., daughter Alvelda L. Duree of Fresno, Calif.; and six beloved grandchildren, Carl, Erica, Loretta, Marla, Nicole and Paul.
     Priscilla was born in Portland on Oct. 12, 1922. As the wife of a military man, she traveled far and wide, living in Cuba as well as Spain, but returned often to her beloved home state of Maine. She was very proud of the fact that she returned to finish her college education at at age of 67, earing a master's degree in International Relations.
     Priscilla was a writer with a vivid imagination and won several awards for her poetry and fiction. Radiantly engaging, always in motion, full of life and passion, Priscilla enriched the lives of everyone she touched, and she will be dearly missed.
     Private family services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by the F.D. Sweet & Son Mortuary in Orland, Calif.

My sympathy to the family. It a sad day when you loose a loved one.
I Mary's 2nd cousin. Do not think I ever knew her but did know several her sibling. If any of family would like Jordan history let me know.
