Rosalie was always pleasant to be around. She was a good business student and got a good job because of her business training at Paris High School. I; haven't seen her for years but have always remembered her. Geneva Woodworth Holehan. She passed away on my 80th birthday.

We met Rosie and Al while attending a Good Sam Rally in 1994 at Fryeburg Fairgrounds. We always enjoyed her sense of humor and willingness to pull all of us together around the campfires in subsequent years. She always had a campfire game or two to play. CueMe was always a favorite when AL and Charlie Grubb came up with some weird clues, and Rosie would always say in fun, "Shut Up Charlie". One year when camping in Booth Bay Harbor, and no campfires were allowed due to a drought, Rosie had a swell idea to put 13 citronella buckets around in a circle to try and get warm. We still can't stand the smell of citronella, ha!
It was always those kinds of things and many more that made Rosie a special person. She left a truly wonderful legacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Rosie was an incredible friend to me when I was in high school and she was my mentor on Falmouth Rescue. I spent many Friday and Saturday nights talking and playing board games at her home while on call. (And thank you, too, Al!) While I lost touch with Rosie as I got older, I often think of the role she played helping me grow up. She has a very special place in my heart.

I lived on Mast Road for 18 years and got to know Rosie. When I was told today about her death notice I remembered what she said many years ago. I remember her as always being funny and making me laugh when I visited her and her family. Al and the family are in my prayers. Now I live in downtown Portland after having a stroke in 2010.

Very sorry to hear that Rosie has passed away. We always looked forward to seeing her every year at the Frozen Four. Last time we saw her was 2012 in Tampa. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. With deep regrets.

We were just reminiscing about Rosie a couple of weeks ago and wondering where she and Al were living. We moved from the Westbrook area about 15 years ago and haven't been in touch with several people from the time we lived there. Rosie was always such a great mother and friend to all! We remember times at St. Edmund's Church. Our prayers go out to you, Al and your children and grandchildren. She was a remarkable lady!

Rosie was the first neighbor we met when we moved into the neighborhood....35 years ago. It was great to have her across the street. She was always there to help or just to chat. She was a fountain of information and always willing to share it. She was great friend to us and our entire family.
