John Hagner Obituary

John B. "Jack" Hagner, Bala Cynwyd, PA, died October 20, 2014 at age 83 from frontotemporal dementia. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary Ellen Yuhas Hagner (nee Leith); children Anita Barker (Timothy). Kathy Babcock (Kristopher), Beverly Darnell (Chris), Paul (Barbara), stepfather to Katherine Yuhas (Scott) and Elizabeth Yuhas. Also survived by a brother Samuel Hagner and 13 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife Graciela Nogueras Hagner and brother George Wills Hagner. Retired partner of Ratke, Miller, Hagner Co., formerly Hagner & Co., certified public accountants. A memorial service for friends and family will take place at the Germantown Monthly Meeting, 47 West Coulter St., Philadelphia, Saturday, October 25 at 5 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Department of Neurology of the University of Pennsylvania, 3400 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102. Arrangements handled by Stuard Funeral Home.

Sorry to read of Jack's passing. We were in the Army together in Anchorage in 1956 and 1957. We (my wife Audrey and I) had some great times socializing and traveling with Jack around the Kenai peninsula. Great memories.
