Daniel Hodges Obituary

Daniel (Danny) Vance Hodges, 77, of Midway, AR, passed away at home on 9-14-2024.
Danny was born in 1947 to Grady Vance Hodges and Nettie Jane Hodges in California.
Danny worked many years in the construction field, eventually having a long career as a superintendent with Baldwin & Shell Construction out of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Danny is survived by his wife, Eva Joy Hodges, and two sons, Grady Daniel (Britney) Hodges and Jonathan Vance (Kristy) Hodges, and three grandchildren, Cate Hodges, Jack Hodges and Jacoby Hodges.
Danny was preceded in death by siblings: Joe Hodges, Shirley Willingham, Gerald Hodges and Virginia Mcmillan. Danny is survived by his sister Rose (Jim) Lutes, sister-in-law Caroll Hodges, many nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Danny loved to farm, fish and hunt and passed that same love of the outdoors to his sons. His first priority was providing for and loving his family, and in doing so he created a lot of good memories over the years.
Danny will be dearly missed.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life ceremony. The family only requests your thoughts and prayers during this time.
The family would also like to thank Gentiva Hospice and all the medical staff that helped care for Danny, especially Cassie, Angel, Dakota, Stephanie, Tristan and Chaplain Steve, along with any others we may have missed. They made his final days more peaceful for him and his wife, and for that we are extremely grateful.
