Thomas Beason Obituary

Thomas Harold Beason was born May 5, 1939, to Franklin Thomas and Clara Beason in Antioch, Ark. Harold was the oldest of eight children. Harold, Gene, Margaret, Murl, Ellen, Dennis and Royce were born in Arkansas. Then the family moved to Downey, Calif., where Tim was born.
Harold grew up an avid celebrity fan, drag racer and parade participant. He married Helen Anne Grigsby of Malvern in 1959. The couple had one child, Jim and later divorced in 1967.
The Beason family moved back to the Malvern area where Harold worked as a mechanic and later developed his passion of mowing lawns. Harold was an optimistic person, who loved the Lord, country music and anything displaying a bald eagle or the American flag.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gene, Murl and Royce and ex-wife Helen.
He is survived by Brenda Beason of Malvern, Ark.; Dennis and Danna Beason of Worland, Wyo.; Margaret Knight of La Mirada, Calif.; Ellen and Randy Carvajal of Houston, Texas; Tim and Nancy Beason of Worland, Wyo.; Jim and Serena Beason of Kuna, Idaho and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 5:30 pm at the Oak Grove Assembly of God Church, Antioch, followed by a family graveside service.

My condolences and prayers for all of the family and friends. I haven't known Harold very long. I was his next door neighbor since December 2023. He was a nice man. I sometimes took him a plate of food and sometimes he would give me produce. My great grandson really liked him. When he came over he would always say" I wannna see Harold". Well Harold always gave him some candy. LOL I know Harold enjoyed seeing him. I am going to miss Harold and seeing his big blue Cadillac parked outside. I know he was a Christian and loved the Lord. Heaven gained an angel the day he left this Earth. RIP Harold Beason.
