Logan Maloy Frazier Sr

1931 - 2016

U.S. veteran, Logan Maloy Frazier, Sr., age 84, of Manchester, passed away into rest on March 27 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Clark Frazier; son, Logan Maloy Frazier, Jr.; parents, the late Ike Frazier and Emma Ferrell Frazier; and grandchildren, Christopher Munsey, Jr. And Dala Elliott. Mr. Frazier was a retired pest control exterminator; a United States Army veteran and a member of the Riley Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his nine children, Kathy Banks (Michael) of Normandy, Debra Walter (Bill) of Lexington, Ky., Teresa Frazier of Manchester, Pam Jamison (Eric) of Manchester, TN, Randy Frazier (Jeanette) of Manchester, Cindy Parsley (Ricky) of Manchester, TN, Melodie Nelson (Cliff) of Flintville, Tenn., Elvis Frazier of Manchester and Susan Parsley (Donny) of Manchester, TN; 33 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation was on Friday, April 1 from 5 - 8 p.m. The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, April 2 at Central Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Bro. Dwight Duckworth and Bro. Michael Banks officiating. Burial followed at the New Reddens Cemetery with U.S. Army military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Memory of Logan M.
