David John Siuda, age 81, of Bear Lake, Michigan, died Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Maples in Frankfort, MI.
He was born on May 30, 1943, in Manistee, MI, and was the son of the late John and Regina "Jean" (Hibner) Siuda. Dave served in the United States Army from 1963 until 1964. During his working career, he was a production line mechanic for several different fruit and food processing companies in our area and was a truck driver for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, cutting wood, and being a Citizens Band Radio operator.
He is survived by his brother, Philip Siuda of Manistee, MI; his sister and brother-in-law, Maryann and Martin McAlwee of Melbourne, Florida; his sister-in-law, Barbara Siuda of Manistee, MI; and his close friends and neighbors, Randy and Katherine Johnson of Bear Lake, MI.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, John and Regina (Hibner) Siuda; and by his brother, Nicholas Siuda; and his niece, Mathy K. Siuda.
In David's honor, the family will receive friends at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with an informal eulogy at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Dave, are asked to consider a donation in his name to the Maples, Benzie County Medical Care Facility, 210 Maple Avenue, Frankfort, Michigan 49635. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home on Saturday.
