Dolan Sievert,78, passed away May 12, 2025 at Ocala's West Marion Hospital in Florida after a short illness. He was born in Manistee, MI on December 15, 1946, to Robert and Reta (Brown) Sievert. They preceded him in death.
Dolan was a graduate of Manistee High School class of 1964. He went on to graduate from Central Michigan University where he received his bachelor's degree in education and taught in the Detroit Public School System. He later received his master's degree in counseling from Wayne State University. It was at CMU where he met his wife, Nancy (Buffa). They Married in 1971 and resided in Northville, MI until Dolan's retirement in 2006 when they moved to The Villages, FL.
Dolan is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Anthony (Kimberly) and Gabriel (Roslinda); and five grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Carmen, Dominic, and Alicia. Dolan is also survived by four brothers, Ernie (Connie) who live in Maysville, KY, Bob (Jane), Terry (Diane) and Bryan (Kathy) who all live in Manistee, MI and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Golfing, ballroom dancing, and cooking were his passions. His golf buddies called him 'Seve.'
There was a small service held at Baldwin Brothers chapel followed by a celebration of life on May 23, 2025.

So sorry to hear, we went to school together from kindergarten, I played in Sievertville all summer when school got out. This has hurt my heart. He is in God's arms now, I wish his family well. What a awful loss. Kathe Wisniski Cabot.
