THOMAS HURSH Obituary

THOMAS A. HURSH

PLYMOUTH: Thomas A. Hursh, age 62, formerly of Plymouth, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Med Central Mansfield Hospital.

Tom was born February 2, 1950 in Shelby, the son of the late William and Dorothy (Lynch) Hursh. Tom attended Plymouth High School until the time of an automobile accident. Although Tom had life changing injuries from the accident, he persevered through over 40 years of difficulties with a calm acceptance and a positive attitude.

Tom is survived by his siblings, Patty(Mark) Clark, Mark (Kathy) Hursh, Howard (Linda) Hursh, Richard (Debbie) Hursh, Jim Hursh, Bill Hursh, Doug (Linda) Hursh, Rob (Sue) Danhoff, Mike (Amy) McKenzie, Ruth (Keith) Sexton; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor P. "Lena" Hursh just 18 days ago on October 29, 2012.

Friends may call on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2-4 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the activities fund at Crystal Care Center.
