I was Jit´s bookkeeper for many years and we became good friends during that time. We shared lots of good laughs. There were times where we didn´t see each other for years at a time but when we did connect it was as if no time has passed and we´d pick up right where we left off. I feel heartsick about his passing and send my love to a deeply caring, sensitive, and loyal friend.

I had been thinking of connecting with Dr. Singh again recently, and am saddened to discover his passing several years ago. Dr. Singh helped me navigate the most traumatic episode of my life and I wanted to update him so he could see how well I'm doing today. I never got to check in with him or thank him after losing coverage when employers only offered Kaiser. He will be remembered fondly.

Shocked and saddened to learn of JIt passing away. He was like a big brother to me, willing to give advice, share life experiences and provide comfort and support to anyone.
RIP Jit - miss your laugh.

I am very shocked and sad to hear about this. Jit was a great all around guy. Very mature, studious and goal oriented.
Man was he a fast runner. Something like 5.1 seconds in the 50 yard dash..just amazing.
RIP Jit, you were a very special guy.

Both my husband I I were long time patients of JIt's. Over 10 years of building a relationship with Jit, he became like a 2nd father to my husband and I. My husband and I would often say we can't live our lives without Jit because he has been so instrumental in shaping us to be healthy, grounded human begins. My heart aches immensely. Sadly, I only found out about his passing last week when I tried calling him and found his phone number disconnected. I googled his name and came across this obituary. I'm sad I did not get to say good bye, thank you and we love you. I pray deeply for his soul. You will always be in our hearts Jit.
If anyone has a more current photo of Jit, I would greatly appreciate a digital copy. I can be reached ay 916-396-2704.
Blessings,
Shereen

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Jit. Always enjoyed running into him at our local watering hole where we shared many conversations from quantum physics to what was the best way to cook a steak. He would also be a guy that would lend an ear and share his thoughts if you were in need of someone to talk to. He will be missed.

Jit and my husband Jerry Sanchez were roommates for 3 years while they attended UC Davis. We were honored to have Jit as one of our groomsmen in our wedding in1984. We will miss him and he will always be in our hearts❤.

Jit was a fiend at Matteucci's. I was newly married. I confessed I had not gotten a Valentine's Day gift. Jit gave me a great slap(figuratively) about my boorish behavior. He castigated me without mercy. Since then I always try to do something special for my wife on Valentine's Day. We have been married more than 30 years. Jit had an insight for doing the right thing. And he shared it with me that day in no uncertain terms.

I was very fortunate to make it past Jit's screening on me during my first meeting him, as I mispronounced his name and called him Jeep. :0! That was about 30 years ago. My husband has had the pleasure of knowing him for the last 15. Our love for him runs deep and we will treasure all the good times, fun, laughter, football watching, and great bbq's and other events forever.
So sad for his family. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.

Ran into Jit over the past few months after no contact since high school. Had quite a few conversations with him. Good guy. Lots to say. Man that little guy could run fast. Too soon. Way too soon.

So sorry to hear this - my sincerest condolences to the family. Jit took me to Warriors games (back when they never won) and we had many fun dates together - handsome, charming, and the quintessential gentleman.

We all grew up together in the late 50's/early 60's on the SFTS campus in San Anselmo. Our parents were dear friends and colleagues. Jit was our "little brother" and through our two dogs' procreation antics, we became in-laws, of sorts! What fine memories of such a lovely friend. My heart goes out to Rita and Smita and all who knew him.
