Dear Lori,
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. Mom just told me last night. I am very grateful to your dad and speak of him often when getting into discussions with people and this "New Math". Your father's class taught you how to survive in day to day life! The only math class I enjoyed! Thank you for sharing him with all of us!

Lori,
I had your Da in 10th grade for Math and although I hated math for much of school I truly enjoyed his class since he made it interesting and fun. I sat up front and I will never forget when he came up to me and said "Tess you have a gray hair" and he promptly proceeded to pull it out! I told him that I'd be fully gray by the time I was 30 and would need to start coloring my hair and he said "Well since you are doing so well in my class you'll know how to budget your money so you can do it every 4-6 weeks". I am very sorry for your loss and hope that you know others are thinking of you in your time of sorrow. May you find peace in knowing that he helped many overcome their dislike of math and actually made them enjoy learning.

Dear Lori, We are sorry for your loss and indeed the loss of all who knew your dad.
He was a truly unique man with quick wit and a warm smile. More importantly I never heard him speak badly of any individual nor have I ever heard anyone speak ill of him. Not a bad legacy.
May the love of Father GOD fill your heart
with warm memories and the assurance of a reunion in HIS house of many mansions.
You remain in our prayers and thoughts.

Your dad always had a smile and a quick wit. I loved to see him enjoy himself at our class reunions. Your mom and dad are together in heaven watching you from above. They can be very proud of the woman you have become. Only time will heal the deep wound that you feel since losing him.

Lori,
Bonnie and I want to tell you how sorry we are about your fathers passing. I had him for math in 9th grade, he always knew how to keep us interested in math. I really got to know your father much better when I became President of the Zephyr Football Club, we had some great talks. My wife loved your dad, she had him as a patient when he had his open heart surgery. He was a very good friend to our twin sons when they played football. He was a very good person and will be missed. God Bless Mr. Proctor!

I was fortunate enough to have mr proctor be my 9th grade math teacher. One day for some strange reason he happened to mention that he liked scrapple and since my family owns Lazarus farm market I took him in a whole pan of scrapple to eat. Never forgot it. he was a great teacher Reat in peace. Donna Lazarus Strawbridge a proud Whitehall Zephyr class of 1974

My sympathies to the entire Proctor family. I'll always remember "Mr. Proctor" as one of my teachers at Whitehall and, also, as a fellow colleague. He was kind-hearted and hard-working. It was a pleasure to have known him.
