Gary C. Transue

Gary C. Transue, 90, of Allentown, passed away on February 4, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital – Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Darlene H. (Hofmann) Transue, who passed away in 1999. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Wilson F. and Nancy (Haney) Transue. Gary graduated from Allentown High School, Class of '53, and he earned his Associates Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a supervisor of Production Planning in the printing department at Bethlehem Steel. After that, he delivered flowers for Zieger's Wholesale Florist. Gary was a musician, playing the drums for over 50 years. He was also a baseball manager at the NorthWest Little League and he was a member of St. Paul's UCC, Allentown.

Survivors: Son, Dane Transue and his wife, Carolyn; Nieces and Nephews. Gary was predeceased by his siblings, Donald Transue and Lorraine Miller; and his companion, Doris Skubik.

Services: 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. www.BKRFH.com
