Alfred Maitz Obituary
Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Alfred V. and Rose A. (Schreiner) Maitz. Alfred was a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School. He worked as a crane operator at Bethlehem Steel for many years before retiring. Alfred enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors: Brother, Richard F. Maitz of Upper Saucon Township; cousins and their families.
Services: A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM on Thursday, October 20, 2022 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11 AM on Thursday. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 AM on Friday in St. Paul's Blue Church Cemetery, 5900 Applebutter Hill Road, Coopersburg.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.

Richie and Family Members. We want to offer our sincere and deepest condolences on the loss of Freddy. He was always a fun and funny guy whenever we had family gatherings. I´ll never forget the wild rides I had on the back of his Indian motorcycle. John & Ruth Maitz
