Alfred G. Pallavicini
Alfred G. Freddie Pallavicini, 78, of 337 E. Patterson Street, Lansford, died March 2, 2006 in Blue Mountain Health Systems, Gnaden Huetten Campus, Lehighton. He was the husband of Helene (Miller) Pallavicini. They were married 53 years last August. Born in Summit Hill, he was the son of the late Joseph and Maria (Mirarchi) Pallavicini. He was employed by the Bundy Tubing Company, Hometown, where he worked for 29 years until the plant closed. He then was employed by Morgans Knitting Mills, Hometown. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II. He was a member of St. Anns Roman Catholic Church, Lansford. He was a member of the Lansford American Legion Post 123, the Summit Hill American Legion Post 316 and the Lansford Italian Club. He was a charter member of the now defunct East End Athletic Association. Survivors: Along with his wife is a son, David Pallavicini of Lansford; daughter, Rosalie Kmetz of Hauto Valley Estates, Nesquehoning; sister, Rose Britton of Palmerton; four grandchildren, two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Pallavicini, in 1983, a sister, Kathryn Hruska, and a brother, Rudy Pallavicini. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2006 from Skrabak-Parambo Funeral Home, 210 E. Bertsch Street, Lansford, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anns Roman Catholic Church, Lansford. Calling hours from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006 in the funeral home. Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Combined Legion Service Sunday evening. Wake service, Sunday evening. Contributions: May be made to St. Anns Catholic Church, Lansford, c/o the funeral home.
