Barbara Schwind Obituary

Barbara Ann (Smith) Schwind, 75, wife of Robert of Green Lane, died Wed, March 7, 2018 at LifeQuest Nursing Center. She was a hostess for her parents' restaurant, the former Candlewyck Inn, in Green Lane. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was a greeter and Eucharistic Minister. Surviving along with her husband of 54 years, are her son, Brian P. Schwind and wife, Denise of Alburtis; a nephew, Robert H. Smith, III of Spinnerstown; a niece, Kimberly Hamada of Doylestown; and her "grand-dog" Bentley. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Robert H. Smith, Jr. Services: Mass 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Viewing 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at church. Mrs.schwind you will be missed greatly by me and my family. Our two families had many wonderful times spent together. Just to name one was my dad and your husband coaching little league together when we were young. Im sure there are many more events but there is not enough room to list them. We will miss you alot Jeff Truesdell and family.
