Barry,
Dog, I never would have thought i would be here writing you this way. I just heard the news today or you know i would've showed my respects at your funeral. I know your smiling down telling me .."it's ok , just don't forget you owe me a bucket of chicken!" (smiling)
I am lucky to have so many great memories of us chillin back in the day. I remember you walking in the snow all the way to my house just to deliver some newspapers. On the phone late nights doing the 3 way with everyone we knew,
until we had at least 12 people on the phone. Man those were the days. It seems like just yesterday we spoke, you told me you were doing well, you were happily married. Told me about your beautiful children. I miss you man. You best beleive when I get to them pearly gates Imma' be there with your chicken in a "golden" bucket. Lol Until then love you always.

My big brother....man I hate this...first Mom now you!!! Why did you have to leave like this. You never got a chance to see my 2 beautiful girls. You never got a chance to hold them. But your looking at them now. I'm sorry Barry...I remember the time we had together, when it was just me and trish and you, when we went to the fair playgrounds. You would give me the world if I asked. When I was pregnant you took me in. I remember when I got a chance to sleep over your house. We played ball together, I couldn't believe it when Marc called me and told me. My heart fell, I couldn't stop to think that you where gone. Hey barry...can you do me a favor??? Cause I know your listening. Give Mom a big hug and kiss and tell her that I LOVE HER and Ima see her soon.
your my big brother and I will never forget that... you will be missed.
LOVE ALWAYS T.

Shavonna,
Memories of the happy times you had with Daddy will help you along the way, your birthday party at the bowling lanes, your Christmas trip to Florida, the weekend visits to his house and the many times he took you just for a quick meal at McDonalds or a trip to the mall. Be certain you have a very special guardian angel that will be watching over you as you go through life. We love you baby and we are here if you need anything.

Tell Me "Why?"

Please God, tell me why
Fathers have to die.
It's not fair, and it's not right,
Oh God, why that night?
I didn't think life could end so fast.
He was so young but his years didn't last.
Now it's too late to say goodbye.
Please God, tell me, "Why?"

Even if his soul is flying free
Now his dreams can never be.
Fathers aren't supposed to die.
I need an answer, God. Please tell me, "Why?"

Maybe life isn't what it seems
And not all fathers get their dreams.
I know we're all meant to someday die,
Still God, I have to ask you, "Why?"

Love,
Shavonna
