Doris Ziegler Obituary
Doris M. Ziegler, 76, of Wescosville, died Saturday, January 11, 2014, in Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown. She was the beloved wife of Robert Ziegler with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage on September 29, 2013. She was born in Allentown and worked as a nurses aide at Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 20 years before retiring. She was a former member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Allentown. Doris loved and treasured her family and her grandson, Brian was the apple of her eye. Survivors: Husband; daughters, Susan M., wife of Karl Hellerich, of Wescosville, Elizabeth A., wife of Brad Fulmer, of Allentown; brother, Clayton Sechler and his wife, Jean; sister, Shirley Cressman, all of Allentown; beloved grandson, Brian Moyer and his wife, Eleza, of Boston, MA. She was predeceased by her son, Robert C. Ziegler. Services: Memorial service 11 a.m., Wednesday, in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton Sts., Allentown, www.jsburkholder.com. There are no calling hours.
