Nevin and I thought highly of Eddie. He had a great work ethic! We loved how he knew what he wanted and nothing could stand in his way once he made up his mind! Nevin did a few jobs for him and they did some other jobs together.
Rest in peace Eddie you deserved the break!

I was in the same high school class as his sister Eloise, but met Eddie during my roofing days at Earl Smith. Between he and Danny, I don't know which one was funnier! Well, okay, Eddie was....by far! The stories I could tell...I remember we were working on a small garage roof, Eddie on one side and myself and Danny on the other, when suddenly Eddie appears coming up the ladder behind us....and with a grin he said "Dickey dropped his hammer. I had to go get it," which meant he fell off the roof! There were more funny things, but in actuality, he was a hard working, fun loving guy! Farm at night...roof by day. He certainly made a day of roofing fun and exciting!
