Eugene Weider

1933 - 2016

Eugene N. Weider, 82, of Elizabethtown died peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Masonic Villages. He was born in Allentown on October 13, 1933 to the late Nevin and Helen (Acker) Weider. He was preceded in death by his wife Yolanda (Nagy) Weider and son Douglas Weider. Gene was an active member of Rajah Shrine and a 50 year Master Mason. He also spent countless hours devoting his time and counsel to local youth as a "Dad" Advisor in both the Allentown and Elizabethtown Chapters of DeMolay. In his earlier years he was an active member and Fire Chief of Salisbury Fire Company No.1. Survivors: He is survived by his daughter Deborah (Prabhat) Kumar, four grandchildren; Rakesh (Kristin) Kumar, Amit (Mamta) Kumar, Brian (Breanna) Weider, and Jason Weider, and three great grandchildren; Vrinda, Rigel, and Vyktra Kumar.
