We will miss our mother and treasure the time that we had with her. She touched our hearts just like everyone who knew her. All of her grandchildren will always remember what she did for them and how much she loved them all. We would like to thank all of our neighbors and old friends for the flowers and meals and kind words in this our time of need.

Delores ("Dee-Dee" as she was known in my house - a name given to her by my 3 year old son, Bear) was my very first friend upon moving to Catasauqua this past November. She welcomed my family and me in with open arms, in her usual loving and hospitable way. We instantly became friends as we had so much in common, including our birth date. I can't begin to describe how I will miss my good neighbor and friend - the Carriage House just will not be the same without you, Delores. Many prayers and thoughts are going out to your family during this time.

Everyone who knew Delores will miss the finer points she brought to all our lives. In the years I knew her she went from the caterpillar to the glorious butterfly. I am so happy to have been there to see it. She will be truly missed.

Dear Lindstrom Family,

My sincere condolences for the loss of Delores. She was a very nice lady and very pleasant to talk to. I enjoyed her open house events. She'll be missed.

I met Delores through my dear friend, Bonnie. When I met Delores it was as if I had known her forever. She was instantly loved and I will miss her happy spirit.

The world is much dimmer without Dame Delores. I will miss her parties, tending her flowers, movie nights, decorating (and redecorating), and the new friends she brought into my life. My condolenceses to her family, to John, to the Manleys and all of her friends. Delores was the queen bee who brought us together with honey - and tea.

I know Delores is holding the most fabulous of tea parties with all she's been missing, and is saving seats for when we see her again. I will cherish all the times we were together. I miss her already more than she knows. My condolences to John and her family.

Sending sincere sympathy to the Lindstrom Family. I worked with Delores at Cedarbrook many years ago. May your many memories give you some comfort at this time.

Delores was such a special light in the world. I am not her longest friend by far yet still aware of how many lives she has touched. She will be missed by myself everyday and my thoughts and prayers are with all who loved Delores. Love, Bonnie

I remember being a young teen from "up the road", and going to Davids house with my brother. Delores gave me her copy of A Tree Grows In Brooklyn to read. I remember it being such a moment in my life, that she took time to talk with me, and suggested I read her book. I often think of buying myself a copy still to this day. Maybe I need to go to Barnes and Noble. She was a really nice mom. David and Gary were so lucky.
