To The Atiyeh Family,...it was with sadness when I read George's name. I remember him well from high school and the many reunions attended. He always had a smile and many, many friends. My prayers are with all of his family. He will always be missed.

I was truly saddened to hear about George. We were classmates all through Sheridan, Harrison-Morton and Allentown High School. I grew up on Railroad St and I believe he lived closer to St. George's Church at the time. We were also neighborhood friends. Later, our lives took different paths but I remember talking with him at one of our class reunions a long time ago. Haven't seen him since then; and I didn't make our last reunion. Our condolences to all the family. George will surely be missed by all who knew him. Memory Eternal.

Dear Jim and Janet,

I just heard of George's passing yesterday, and cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. How sad. George was so vibrant and always with a smile on his face. I instantly had a rush of fond memories of George and what a great person he was. We had some great times growing up....and he loved telling people how we slept together when we were born in the hospital....he use to everyone he was much younger than me...but failed to say it was by 3 days. Although I have been gone from Allentown many years, I always looked forward to seeing George at St. George, and to our annual birthday calls to each other. He would always catch me up on the goings on at church. He will be missed.

I met George in 1977, in downtown Easton, when I was 20 years old. As soon as he found out I was Lebanese, that was it....we bonded and remained friends all these 37 years...I am so sad to see this, and I will miss my buddy forever. Good man, great attitude, gave great advice, kind, caring, loving, you name it..he had it all...Allah Yerhamouh...very sad..I loved this man...

To Jimmy and Ell's and the Atiyeh family

I don't think any words can relate how Lucille and I feel about the loss of Kibbee.

As Rosie was like a sister, George was like the older brother who was always there when you wanted someone to talk with or confide in.

Over the years I have told many people that... Rarely have I met a man who found it a pleasure to go out of his way to help someone and about whom I can honestly say...that not only have I never had an argument with but have never seen him angry, resentful or envious of anyone.

So St. Kibbee...even though we will all miss you here...you can move to a far better place where you can rejoin Jan, Harvey, Betty and Rosie.

Adios Good Friend...We will miss you!
