Herbert A. Borger

1928 - 2023

Herbert A. Borger, 94 of Northampton-Allen Twsp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA.

Born November 17, 1928 in Northampton-Kreidersville, PA, he was the son of the late John Borger, Sr. and the late Erma (Miller) Borger. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Bauman) Borger who passed away December 1, 1992.

Herbert was employed by the Coca-Cola Co. in Bethlehem, PA. as a Driver / Salesman for 36 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreridersville, PA. a longtime member of Grunsau Lodge #1 on die Lechaw. He was a member of the Allen Twsp. Vol. Fire Co., and a former member of the Church Softball Team for years. Herbert was a former bowler with the Coca-Cola Co-workers Team, and he was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. As hobbies, he enjoyed playing cards, going to horse racing events, woodworking, and working on his antique cars.

Surviving are daughters, Sandra L. wife of John Weiss and Kelly J. Borger both of Northampton, PA. 2 Step-Grandsons, 3 Step-Great Granddaughters, and a Step-Great-Great Granddaughter, along with nieces and nephews, and constant companion Kaycee.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Schisler Funeral Home, of Northampton, PA is in charge of arrangements. Future interment will take place at Zion Cemetery, Kreidersville, PA.
