Jim is the person I've known the longest in my life and I can honestly say, he never disappointed me in that time.

From my earliest days of hero worship - through my early adult years of close friendship - to the later years of complete admiration of how he lived, I've always (and still am) very proud he is brother.

Dear Candy, Ryan, Matt, Denise, and Lizzie
I am heartbroken for all of you and for anyone who was lucky enough to know Jim. He was truly a wonderful man who made everyone, including me, feel welcome and as if we were special. I will never forget his kindness, his sweet smile, and his unique laugh. I feel as if the world is a lesser place without him, yet heaven is now so much better. Until we meet again, Jim, I will cherish my memories of you, as will so many other people.

Mr Shultz played a big part in all of our childhood memories...He was the Dad that was always smiling. So approachable and so kind. I loved seeing him at all the games, from the early Hokey days, through high school and even while Matt was at Moravian.

In 7th and 8th grade he taped our "powder puff game" and his commentary was so funny! He gave me my own copy and I felt so lucky to have gotten it! Matt is so much like his father...what a wonderful man to have learned so much from.

The love I always see amongst the members of the Shultz's family is a true testament to two wonderful parents, Jim and Candy. May it be of some comfort to have many fond memories and to know that Jim has given you all so much.

Love to all of you!

I worked with Jim at both Tarkett and the Lehigh Valley Dairy. After Tarkett closed we communicated via email usually ribbing each other about the Mets and Phils.
He witnessed my sons only football victory at Palmerton and we always considered him a good luck charm.
I looked forward to an email from milkman1950 reading about what he was up to next ( like skydiving or getting a speeding ticket in Somerset,Pa)
I miss you Jim and wish we could have gotten together more after Tarketts doors closed.

To the Shultz family: I had the privelege of getting to know Jim at work. He was a wonderful man who could always put a smile on your face. I will always remember when Jim took a picture of my baby's feet at a work outing and said how much he loved babies' feet. It was so sweet. I will also remember the hilarious times we had participating in "office olympics". Jim will be deeply missed but we will always have the great memories.

May the Shultz feel the love being extended by those that new Jim.

We were saddened to learn about Jim’s passing. He will certainly be missed in the neighborhood. I also had the privilege of getting to know him while we worked at INFONXX. I enjoyed our conversations about family – the center of his life. His face would especially light up when he talked about his grandchildren. May God be with you during this difficult time.

My family and I share our deepest condolences to the entire Shultz family. Jim was such a large part of my childhood, growing up with Matt. I am grateful for everything that he did through the years.

It will always stick in my mind that the first time I saw Jim after my first child was born and I shook his hand and I said "Hi, Mr. Shultz" and his response was, "Jim, not Mr. Shultz". It was a moment that I can still remember, a feeling of respect that he had for me and a feeling I always had for him.
