John F. McGovern
John F. McGovern, 63, of Bath, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, in his home. Born Aug. 20, 1940, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Thomas Michael and Alverta (Mast) McGovern. He was owner and manager of Red Barn Furniture and Appliances, Bath, and also was a real estate manager. Survivors: Sons, Michael of Fair Haven, N.Y., Thomas and wife Melissa of Sellersville; stepson, John D. Barlip and wife Diane of Bath; daughters, Jacqueline of Coopersburg, Tanya Reenock of Clarksville, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Renee Markovitz of Bangor; brother, Thomas; 12 grandchildren. A sister, Maryann Lawrence, predeceased him. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Bartholomew Funeral Home, 243 S. Walnut St., Bath. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday. Contributions: American Diabetes Association, 2045 Westgate Drive, Bethlehem 18017.

I was jack's grandson I was very close to him I would go with him almost everyday him and I where very close I will miss going out to eat with him and most of all I will miss him.
