I will always remember Mr. Muta as an extremely handy, kind and generous neighbor. Once as a young girl I closed the garage door on my fingers and he answered my screams and helped remove my fingers from the door.....such a kind man. I enjoyed every opportunity I had to watch Mr. Muta dance with Mrs. Muta - polka style! Remembering all the fun on South 18th Street!! God Bless

My sincere condolences to the entire Muta family. My late husband, Bruce Stiles, had fond memories of Mr. Muta. We enjoyed our visits to your family on South 18th Street in our early years of dating and marriage. Your dad always made us laugh as he liked to tease Bruce. My thoughts and prayers are with you. What a good person. My children always called him, "Uncle Potato" which he loved. He was my other brother and as only John could do, he showed his loving care for his family and relatives by doing the nice thoughtful things and giving you one of those special hugs. We'll miss you Johnny. You will live on in our memories. Be happy in the arms of
