Mark Stephen Obituary

Stephen, Mark A.Mark Stephen, 63, of Allentown, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by his family on October 19, 2015. Born in London on Nov. 20, 1951, Mark was the son of Keith and Janette Stephen. He was the husband of Jill Stephen, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. They have two daughters, Sarah and Lesley Stephen. He is also survived by his sister, Jo Johnston and his niece and nephew, Anna and Michael. Mark was trained as a mechanical engineer with a degree from Cooper Union and studied in the Masters program at Lehigh University. His family and friends will miss him for his kindness, his quiet wit, and his ability to find anything you could ever need in a thrift shop. He loved books on tape, was an avid science fiction reader, and a long time assistant coach for both of his daughter's soccer teams while they were growing up. He was also a loving, while slightly begrudging, father to many poorly behaved dogs. Services: A private memorial will be held for close friends and family.
