Marlene J. Maxwell
Marlene J. Molly Maxwell, 70, of Emmaus, formerly of Vera Cruz, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Evan H. and Dorothy J. (Beisel) Maxwell. She was a 1957 graduate of Emmaus High School. Prior to retiring, Molly was employed by McConway and Torley, Kutztown. Previously, she was the executive secretary to the superintendent of schools within the East Penn School District. She was a member of Emmanuel Assembly of God, Allentown, where, in her younger years, she sang and played the marimba. Survivors: Son, Jay M. Fretz and wife, Wanda E., Breinigsville; daughters, Dana (Fretz) Kern Friz and husband, Perry, Emmaus, Gwen (Fretz) Reed and husband, Calvin, Forks Township; sister, Carole A. Wescott, Allentown; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Brothers, Evan A. and Keith N., preceded her in death. Services: Private. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. To Don and Molly's Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. It was so nice seeing Molly again at the Bocce Club after not seeing her for some years, we go back to the sheriff's office where we worked together. We had some good laughs together, I always loved her dry sarcastic humor. God Bless!
