It is with deep regret that I was unaware of your mother's passing. I was very found of aunt Mary although we saw little of each other over the years.I was very pleased, some years ago, when she visited us along with another aunt of mine with whom she was close friends.
Please know that my warmest thoughts go out to you at this difficult time.

Mrs Figlear was my nursing instructor at St Lukes. The woman had a kind heart, but made her point across.Very knowledgeable, loved to help all students. Rest in peace.

I will never forget Mrs. Figlear. She taught me the skills and knowledge I would need throughout my career but she also showed me the importance of compassion and caring through her actions. My favorite memory is the time she walked me down the hall on one of the nursing units. At the end of the hall she asked me what I observed and I listed a few things. She shared what she observed on her walk and blew me away with all she'd noticed. I learned the importance of observation that day and became far more alert when I was on the unit. Rest in peace Mrs. Figlear. Deb (McGhee) Mckinney, Class of 77.

My deepest condolences to her family. Mrs. Figlear was such a sweet, soft spoken woman. A nursing instructor that genuinely cared for her students and who loved the profession she helped so many to enter into. May you rest in peace
