Mayra, I will always love and appreciate you and I will spend the rest of my life making sure that our children live their lives in a way that honors your memory. I will love them, protect them, and support them. I will forever keep a candle burning for you and as much as I miss you, I am glad that you are at peace. I will never meet another human being as tough as you...you beat so many odds and overcame so many obstacles. We will miss you dearly, but I promise you that our babies will be ok. Rest easy Pebbles....I'll always be your Bam Bam

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Mayras family. While we havent kept in touch much since high school, Mayra was always so fun to be around. She is a key person in almost all of my favorite high school memories....especially our senior year. I wish I had been better about keeping in touch over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

My teenage years wouldnt have been the same had you not been a part of them. I will always remember your laugh and how much we laughed together. This is a terrible loss for all of us that knew you. You always brightened my day and had the best answers off the top of your head. I will also remember how important your girls are to you and how much you loved them. You would tell me about how proud of them you were. Our memories and our childhood will always be with me. I pray for your girls and your family that they will have strength to take care of each other in your absence. I will miss you my beautiful friend, great mother and now Angel xoxo
