Nancy Scott Case

Nancy Scott (Synar) Case, 87, of Palmerton, formerly of FL, Hellertown, & Macungie, died Friday, June 29, 2018. She is the wife of the late Charles John Case, Jr. (died June 10, 1993). Nancy was born in Abington on January 25,1931 to the late Walter S. Synar and Fannie (Brice). She was a graduate of Lower Merion High School. Nancy enjoyed Psychology through various courses and enjoyed playing Bridge. Nancy is a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville where she was on the Congregational Care Team; member and past Worthy Matron of the former Saucon Valley Chapter #529 of the Eastern Star, and a member of New Temple Chapter 298 in Macungie - Order of Eastern Star. SURVIVORS: Children: Diane Case Garber (Ken) of Wyomissing, Charles J. Case, III (Linda M.) of Ulster; grandchildren: Heather Case (Steve), Garrett Garber (Mayra), Erin Garber (Kolten), Bethany Dimedio (Jon), Justine Case; great granddaughter: Katelyn McMurtie. Predeceased by: sisters: Doris B. Mills and Jane F. Neiber. SERVICE: Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main St. Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
