Nathan Greenberg
Nathan Greenberg, 89, of Allentown, died Oct. 7 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Israelitan) Greenberg, who died in 1967. He was the former owner of Morris Greenberg & Co. Inc., Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Morris and Fanny (Davis) Greenberg. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Temple Beth El, Allentown. He graduated from the former Allentown High School, where he was a quarterback. He also attended the former Allentown Prep School and Franklin & Marshall College. An avid golfer, he was a member of the basketball team at the Allentown Jewish Community Center. He was a member of the Barger Masonic Lodge, Allentown. Survivors: Sons, Donald, with whom he resided and Ira and his wife, Leslie, both of Chicago; grandchildren, Sarah and Mitchell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Green and Oscar Greenberg. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Temple Beth El, Allentown. Arrangements, Bachman, Kulik & Reinsith Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: Temple Beth El Building Fund.
