Norman Seidel Obituary

Seidel, Norman Norman Seidel, 96, of Easton died Dec. 29, 2014 at home. He was an Attorney in the Easton area starting in private practice in 1941, then with the Seidel, Cohen, Hof and Reid Law offices. He was a graduate of Easton HS in 1934, Lafayette College in 1938 and University of PA Law School in 1941. An active member of Bnai Abraham Synagogue, he was a Past President of the Northampton County Bar Association; Counsel for the Easton Redevelopment Authority and a founder of ProJeCt of Easton. Survivors: 2 daughters: Jan Panto and her husband Joe of Forks Twp., PA; Judy Waldman and her husband Bruce of Bethlehem, PA; and four grandchildren: Jack and his wife Christina, Samantha, Casey and Buckley Waldman. His wife Myriel and brother Irv died earlier. Services: Noon (TODAY, Dec. 30) in Bnai Abraham Synagogue, 16th & Bushkill Streets, Easton. Interment in Bnai Abraham Cemetery. Norman gave me the warmest welcome when we first came to Easton in 1995. And he was an enthusiastic supporter ever since. He was an ambassador for Easton and for its Jewish community. I will miss him. His memory is a blessing.

Norm was one of the most intelligent, honest, caring and sweet man I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know over the last 14 months. My heart is truly broken, and I will always remember him and how thankful I am to have had the pleasure of being in his life, he truly brought so much joy in my life in the last year.

we are saddened to learn of norman's death; he was like a family family to our family,
my late parents were georg and minerva auerbach; i am their daughter, lynn auerbach kaplan.
whe i was yonger and norm came to the house to play bridge, he always gave a wonderful hug, and i'll always remember his laugh, his kindnesses and his stories about my uncle mace bugen.
