Dr. Robert Barnes was my Doctor for many years; maybe 23. He was a Christian and that made me happy because I am one also. He was referred to me by my friend Terry (Tabone) Shultz. He was very easy to talk to and he was a happy man which is nice when you go to the Dr. To all so sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you all. And I just found this out today.

I´m so sorry to learn of the passing of Robert Barnes. Bob and Charlie grew up in Plainfield, NJ, two blocks apart, until 1960. Although we attended different schools, we did spend lots of time playing baseball in a nearby park. In addition, we were both participants in the first year of Plainfield´s Little League Baseball organization in 1953, albeit on different teams.
We renewed acquaintances when seeing inpatients in Allentown in the 1980´s. Heavy workloads kept us both from sharing memories of the past for more than a few times afterward.
We offer our sincere condolences to Marty and Bob´s family and friends. We shall keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Bob had a special connection with our families, the Cagna´s & Seidel´s. He came into our lives along with Marty and the kids when our mother Elsie was his Registered Nurse in his Family Practice . Bob spent a lot of time with my father and brother Ronnie hunting, boating and enjoying a few cold ones. Bob was there when Ronnie, my Parents and Eddie ( John) were called home.
We´ll forever be Thankful his path in life crossed our families. Many good times and caring about people. Rest In Peace Bob and
Happy Hunting. With Love and Wonderful Memories.

Dear Barnes Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. My mom and dad, Kenneth and Alice Kline, were patients of his and Dr. Brian for many years. He and his son took great care of them and I am grateful for that. May God hold him in the palm of his hand.
