Dear Mrs. Lowman,
As the Vietnam Moving Wall arrived in our town of Amherst, NH yesterday, my husband was reflecting on his time spent in Vietnam. He mentioned a couple names of soldiers that he had become friends with while there and I searched the Internet. Chuck was saddened to see I had found the obituary for Bob. He recognized him by his photo right away. Chuck and Bob had night duty together in the Fire Direction Center, plotting courses for the guns. Chuck remembers Bob talking about you during their time together. Please know that you are in our thoughts today as Chuck remembers his friendship, although brief, with Bob.

Dear Pat,
With a heavy heart, it is very difficult to fully express what Bob has meant to me as a friend for over 50 years. Although separated by distance, it was a comfort to know that he was always there with you in Bethlehem as an anchor as my life moved on. He was a quiet but steadfast leader who always got the job done. I will miss his presence and our phone calls. My thoughts are with you and your family in this time of sorrow and remembrance. -Bob

Dear Pat,
Bob was such an all around good person: a loving husband, father, and grandfather. God's comfort and strength be with you now.

Oh Pat, my daughter and Katie enjoyed listening to Bob tell "husband's point of view 'stories. He jokingly would say that either you were talking too long or something - so he would have to stand around for hours (when it was a few minute wait)!
We will remember him as a kind, gentle man who adored you. He will truly be missed.

Pat, so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was a very nice man and I'm sure will be missed. I have very fond memories of my relatively short time with him as a fraternity brother and a teammate. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My deepest sympathy go out to Pat, Jenny and family. I have known Bob since we were 12 years old and have reconnected many times over the years. I marvel at the courage and perseverance he displayed over these last few years. His determination and endurance to stand up against such an evil opponent was remarkable. He gets my vote for being a "Most Valuable Player". He was smart, athletic and unassuming. I loved being in last period study hall with Bob in high school He would keep his physics and chemistry homework answers available to me and boy did I need them. I have thanked him many times over the years. Take care, Leo

I was so blessed and fortunate to have Bob as a genuine and trustworthy friend. Growing up near Bob's home in Milford Square, I have such wonderful memories of Bob playing basketball up in our barn, playing wiffleball in Bob's backyard, trading valued baseball cards with Bob as teenagers, and attending a number of Phillies' baseball games down at Connie Mack Stadium. Bob was and always will be the "best of the best"!!! May I extend my sincerest and deepest condolences to Pat and Bob's family. RIP Bob.

I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Bob and I were neighbors in Milford Square and graduated from Quakertown. He was always a friend and gentle man. Remember the good times and the wonderful memories in the coming days.

I am so thankful and blessed that I had the opportunity to be a good friend with Bob when I grew up near his home in Milford Square. No matter if we were playing basketball up in my barn, playing wiffleball in Bob's backyard, trading our valued baseball cards, or enjoying a trip to a Phillies' game down at Connie Mack Stadium, one could never have asked for a more genuine and trustworthy friend than Bob. Bob was the best of the best. May I extend my condolences to Pat and Bob's family. RIP Bob.
