Robert Stano Scroce
Robert Stano Scroce, 70, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at his residence. Born in New York City on March 14, 1943, he was the son of Nellie A. (Temos) Stano, with whom he resided and the late Joseph S. Stano. He was a graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1961 and later attended Penn State University Extension. A member of the Laborers Union Local No. 1174, Robert was employed as a laborer for over 50 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, tractors and vintage vehicles. Robert was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Bath. Known for his unselfish and quiet, unassuming ways of helping others, Robert will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Survivors: In addition to his loving mother, Nellie; he is survived by his stepsister, Maria Stanisic, of The Hamptons, NY; along with aunts; uncles; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Michalerya, in 2007. Services: Will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
