My thoughts and prayers go out to the Maxwell Family. I will definitely miss playing cards ("Texas Hold Um") with Junior - we could play for hours and the great fishing trips - competing to see who would catch the most fish.

"Rest in Peace" my buddy.

UNCLE "JR"

My heart still beats
But it skipped one for you
My soul aches with pain
I'm left feeling blue

I knew this day would happen
But its still a bit much
I am truly sadden
That will nvver feel your touch

I will never hear you say again
I Love You
In a way that was so sincere
Even though you were so far away
It felt like you were right here

You always made me laugh
With your corny jokes
I would be rolling on the floor
Almost about to choke

I salute you Uncle "JR"
You have a place in my heart
Until our reunion
My love for you will never part

You are gone but never forgotten

To my UNCLE "JR", You will be greatly missed. R.I.P....I will hold you near and dear to my heart. Thanks for all the joy and laughter that we shared. I LOVE YOU.

Your niece,

I was blessed to share Uncle Jr’s last days with him at LVHN. Being an employee there, I would spend my lunch time or after work hours with him. We laughed and joked, and remembered good times. I watched, from Day 1- Day 3, as he slowly slipped away from us. My Uncle paved the way for all our family members to call Allentown PA home. Now, my dearest uncle rest along side of some fishing pond in paradise. Rest Unc from all pain and suffering. Love Always Jean Raymond-Hoffman

Velvet, Sunday and Ms. Verne, My heart is heavy with the passing of Mr. Rufus. How can you put a lifetime of memories into just a few words? I will miss him dearly, especially his teasing and ready smile whenever we were all together. I know you needed him, but God needed him more. Take whatever comfort you can from knowing that heaven just got another angel and we will all be better in knowing that we have him on our side. RIP Mr. Rufus, we will miss you.

To the family and friends of Rufus Maxwell
My sincere condolences to all. Ecclesiastes reads this. There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Rufus Maxwell, whom I had the pleasure of being his hospital room mate,
is now at peace, resting in God's hand. Let this be your conciliation.
