May our Lord comfort you Victoria and your family, in this time of deep sadness.
A kindhearted and good man, who passed way too soon. It is heartbreaking to so many people. I hope this prayer and poem can offer some amount of comfort.

The Everlasting Light...
Those we love will someday pass, beyond our present sight. Leave us and the world we know, without their radiant light.
But,we know that like a candle, their lovely light will shine...to brighten up another place, more perfect, more divine.
And in Heaven, where they shine so warm and bright...
our loved ones live forevermore in Gods eternal light.

Victoria and family, I do believe, Tommy's light will shine over you always.

To the Gaumers,

I was so sorry to hear of Tom's sudden passing last week! We had recently reconnected online, and he was always the nicest most welcoming guy.

I remember the Jester days too - I was a few years younger and in those days my garage bands were largely limited to jamming in garages. (Blue Fog anyone?) But Tom welcomed us to hang out with them during band practice, and I'll always remember those Jester practices as a great "behind the music" memory, just hanging out with a great group of guys that a couple fledgling musicians could look up to as we pursued our musical dreams;-)

Tom will be missed by many as a great guy, leader, teacher, musician, and friend.

RIP,
Paul

Gaumer Families,
We were so saddened to hear of Toms passing, he was such a Cool guy! He was always glad to see you and had something nice to talk about. We recently reconnected on Facebook and talked about all types of things, last time we talked it was about how us "OLD GUYS" still could rock because we both went to see Judas Priest at the PPL center. Robin and I will miss your humor and you are in our fond memories, may you rest in peace.

Dear Janet, We were so surprised and saddened to read of Tom's passing. It was great to re-connect with you both at our family picnics. We got to know Tom for the caring and loving person he was and I wish we could have continued to see and know him better. But one thing was clear; he loved you very much and I know how much you loved him and depended upon one another. Words are little solace; but, as Dylan Thomas wrote: "Though lovers be lost, love shall not..." One day you will meet in heaven, of that I am sure.

Love, Dick and Barbara

Tom was one in a million. His quick wit, love of animals and Atlanta teams were second only to how much he loved his wife, daughter and extended family. He was the real deal and will be missed by many.
Thank you, Tom, for making us laugh and teaching us what matters most in life.

My endless love...I now see how we were role models for what God said marriages are to be. For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, we didn't give up, we stayed true to our promise to God....we will meet again

My deepest condolences go out to Tom's family. I knew Tom in high school and played guitar in Jester, with Tom leading the way. Those days were some of the best days in my life. Although those times only spanned several years, they have stayed with me throughout my life as all my great memories of Tom have too. When I see you again someday, Tom, I hope you're ready to jam.
