Victor T. Zarrelli

Victor T. Zarrelli, 83, of Hellertown passed away in the early morning on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill after a short illness. He was the loving husband of the late Maryann R. (Greco) Zarrelli. Born in Newark, NJ, Victor was the son of the late Pietro and Mercedes (LaMedica) Zarrelli. A graduate of West Side High School, Newark, NJ and Rutgers University, he received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Victor was Director of International Finance at Merck – Schering Plough Pharmaceutical Company working in Madison and Kenilworth, NJ, retiring in 2001. He was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Hellertown. Victor is survived by his son, Stephen G. Zarrelli MD, and his wife Catherine of Bethlehem; sister, Rose Natale of Toms River, NJ; brothers, Joseph Zarrelli Toms River, NJ, Peter Zarrelli and wife Annette of Manchester, NJ; grandchildren, Olivia Maureen Kepfinger and husband Joshua of Charleston, WV, Matthew Victor Zarrelli of Bethlehem; great granddaughter, Remi Luna Kepfinger and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by children, Daniel Zarrelli and Lisa Zarrelli, his brother Nicholas Zarrelli and sister Mary Giacobbe. Victor was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a culinary genius who enjoyed all types of cooking, travel, and gardening. Victor enjoyed spending time with his dear friends from Hellertown, playing board and card games. He loved his family and was very giving. He was passionate about caring for the many cats and wildlife that frequented his backyard. He also enjoyed spoiling his grand-dog Humphrey. Victor will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
