Hellen Kaley Obituary

Hellen Kaley, 97, of Milledgeville passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Kaley and daughter, Karen Payne. She is survived by daughter, Sherry Roberts; son, Kevin Kaley; grandchildren, John Roberts, Rebecca Roberts, Chalon Kaley, Kaley Nash, Kris Marshall; great grandchildren, Jasper Butcher, Phoebe Butcher, Jura Kaley, Ruby Kaley, Isla Nash, Dexter Nash, Scarlett Nash, Maddie Marshall, Austin Marshall. The Kaley family had nicknames and Hellen's was "The Beast"; friends and family alike referred to her as such, and she loved it, partially because it was the polar opposite of her persona. Hellen was a caregiver, mother, and wife. She supported her husband as he built Pace Academy, often going to help clean and sweep the floors. She supported her children in every way possible, doubtful she ever missed an athletic or other children's event. She was "always there" for family and friends. She spent many years caring for her mother as she was debilitated by age and Alzheimer's. She was, as most people who met her would say, "Soooo sweet!". She, in her gentle way, touched and influenced many lives; she will be dearly missed. Services are to be held at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel on Wednesday May 28th at Noon with visitation an hour prior to the service.
