I met Al back in the 1990s when I worked at Bright Development, and from the very beginning, he was someone truly special. He was loved by so many, and it was easy to see why. Over all these years, we stayed in touch-texting several times a year, bantering about the Dodgers, and catching up on each other´s lives. No matter how much time had passed, he always put a smile on my face. I am completely devastated by his loss, but I am so grateful for the friendship we shared and the joy he brought into my life.
Godspeed, Dodger Dog.
Your friend always,
Horsebreath (Cathy Baker)

Alfred will be looking down on LA, an Angel in the outfield saying "Three Peat!"
I will miss your laughter Alfred.

Alfred had a spice for life! We walk to school together from kindergarten up until High School. He loved his Dodgers and loved to dance. I am going to miss our texts and sharing my life with him! I will love you Alfred forever!

We have such fond and precious memories of Al and honor his life.
We will remember Al as a thoughtful and deeply kind friend who showed great dedication to his family, friends, his work, and, of course, the Dodgers.
Our memories of Al at work functions and baseball games are certainly highlights of our time together (photos included); however, most significant were the times we spoke of his love for his family and his life experiences, which he always looked upon positively.
Al was a gem of a human being and will be carried in our hearts and memories. His care and love will live on in the people he impacted, including us.
Regretfully, we are unable to attend the funeral.
Affectionately,
Steve and Lisa Smith

In my quietness
I stumble on decade beads and whisper, Hail Mary...
My soul is desperately crying
My weak heart is longing for the light in the darkness
My breath slowly filled with peace
Peace be with you, Alfred
Peace be with me, peace be with us, peace be on the earth.
Thank you for the friendship.
