Billie Walker Obituary
June 5, 1943 - May 6, 2023
Catheys Valley, California - Billie Evelyn Walker passed away unexpectedly after heart surgery complications on May 6, 2023.
Our amazing mother, wife, sister, cousin, auntie, grandmother and great grandmother is now "in the arms of Jesus".
Billie was born in Merced, California on June 5, 1943 and spent most of her life in Le Grand, California.
Growing up in the small town of Le Grand, she was blessed to have many incredible girlfriends to travel and attend social events.
Billie graduated from Le Grand High School where she met Natalino Bianchi. They married in 1963 and lived on his parents ranch. They had two children, Monica and Russell.
Billie attended Fresno State and Chapman College where she received her teaching credential. Billie began her career in education as a teacher's aide at Le Grand Jr. High. In 1974 she received her first teaching position at Planada Elementary where she taught and retired after 30 years.
On July 14, 1996, Billie married Colin "Cease" Walker. Billie and Cease, retired to Catheys Valley, California in 1985. She and Cease loved to take cruises and attend his Air Force Gunner's Reunions.
Billie loved traveling with her group of girl friends to warm tropical locations when not spoiling her grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Hettie and Hap Lambert, her first husband Natalino Bianchi, and her brother-in-law Jerry McPherson.
Billie is survived by her husband of 30 years Cease Walker, her sister Retha, brother Mike, and her two children Monica and Russell, step children, Bill, Chet, Susie, Colin, and grandchildren, Spencer, Madison, Zach, Cristian, Annabella, Reece, and great grandson, Crew.
A celebration of life will be held in late June.

Monica and Russell I send you my deepest and most heartfelt condolences for yourloss of your Mom. She was such a good soul even though I didn´t see her much I´m going to miss her. We were not what you would say close friends, but close enough. My heart hurts knowing I won´t be seeing her. But I will forever cherish my memories of this sweet dear lady. R.I.P. Billie and no I am not remarried yet. something she asked me everyt time we saw each other.

So so sorry to hear about Billie's passing. Teaching with her years ago in Planada are good memories I've always kept in my heart. She was kind and a joy to be around. She'll be truly missed but I'm sure she's with the Lord. Sending my dear condolences to Monica, Russell and Cease.

I was so sad to read this! Billie was such a super friend to me when I worked at Planada Elementary. We took our classes to the aquarium in Monterey. That Christmas she gave me an angelfish to remind me of our time together. Every year at Christmas I always remember her. Condolences to Monica and family.

I was a student in her early days at Le Grand(Savannah) Jr High. She was so kind and encouraging, always. She could make a sad child smile and feel important. Thank you, and enjoy Heaven. Monica, Russ and family, prayers for you and your families. Such a great loss.
