Merced, California - – It is with great sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of our sister, Christina Grace Velasquez, who passed away suddenly. We are comforted in the knowledge that she is with our Lord now. She passed away at Dignity Health Hospital on October 4, 2021.
She was a very loving, caring and passionate person. She would give you the shirt off her back. She has helped many homeless people by finding clothing for them and food if she had it. She loved going to the Senior Center for lunch and visit with her friends. She was so friendly that she had numerous friends all over.
She was born in Merced, California and leaves behind a son, Aaron Patterson whom she loved very much.
Tina, is preceded in death by her Mother, Sarah Papageorge, Father, William Velasquez, brothers George Papageorge, Jim Papageorge, Dennis Wolf and sister, Theresa Di Rienzo.
She is survived by her brothers, Nick Papageorge, Anthony Jimenez, William Wolf Jr and Thomas Wolf. And sisters, Mary Papageorge (Dave), Phyllis Lenahan (David), Sonia Lopez, Paula Wolf, sister-in-law's Paulette Papageorge and Barbara Papageorge and many Aunts and Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
