Bernice Vetere Obituary

Bernice E. Vetere A 43 year resident of San Jose /Willow Glen. Born 10/18/1924 in Ovid, MI. She passed away on 8/27/08. She was very strong and brave while facing 18 month illness. Predeased by her Husband Paul and Son James. Bernice had several hobbies, such as gardening, cooking, sewing, tennis, learning how to operate her laptop computer and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her 5 children, Mary (Thava), Nick (Toni), Kathy, Janis, & Therese (Herb). She had 6 Grandchildren: Silvana Gentzkow (Joe), Paul Vetere, Gabriella Vetere, Cristina Vetere, Orlando & Olivia Otero. A Rosary will be held on Wed 9/3/08 at 7:00pm at Oak Hill Mortuary; Funeral Mass will be held on Thur 9/4/08 at 10:00am at St. Christopher Church. The family would like to thank Crystal Lam (caregiver), and the staff from Hospice of the Valley for the wonderful care and support they gave our Mother and the family. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of the Valley or St. Christopher Endowment Fund.
